At some point, in nearly every college student’s career, they ponder the question: What is all this for? Whether it’s pure stress before a final or just a mid-semester cry for help, we all need reassurance that we are on the right path.
The truth is, as college students we are fully aware that graduating with a degree will give us a better chance at obtaining a successful career and financial support in life. Many students find the degree they love and know exactly what career they want to achieve right away. Others, find them self confused, or uncertain of what degree is best for them and struggle to pinpoint a direction to take. These students sometimes resort to a degree that will make them the mula, $$, they one day hope to have. But, what they don’t realize, is the life they lose by doing so.
Alan Watts narrates a short video about whether passion or money truly allows a person to live. I invite you watch the video, here. After the video, think about what you are doing now. If what you are doing now does not match what you deeply love and are passionate for, then it is time for a change. Take money out of the equation and become what YOU are and what YOU do.
Dare to explore, love to live.
