So, we all know what’s approaching just around the corner . . . FINALS! Although they are still two full weeks away, it would be a great idea to start preparing NOW!
If you’re anything like me, you have a nice to-do list set out everyday, where the majority of items on the list get bumped to the next day by the end of the day you’re actually trying to get them done. As frustrating and annoying as it may seem, it is in your best judgement to put a little study time on your to-do list each day before finals begin. And, NO bumping it to another day! That way you’re not up all night before a test, cramming every little bit of information that you can into your head and praying to God that you remember it in the morning.
Previous finals studying, and my results on my finals have shown me that it is time to step up the game, and kick it into gear. Think back to your finals last semester, or another test you had to study for. What would you have done differently? Could you have used more time to prepare? Are there other study methods you would have rather used?
Use the time you have now to get yourself ready for the rush. Once you sit down, scratch your forehead, and check your pencil for lead, you should be well prepared for the stack of paper that will be placed in front of you. Tell your imaginary to-do list to get a to-do list, and start checking off a little studying each day, you’ll be so glad you did. Sorry to sound like a mom.
Cheers
