If you are anything like me, you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed at the moment. The start of the spring semester has brought six new syllabi, six new subject areas, and six new scheduling pieces to fit in my already complex weekly outlook. Although change and new processes are my kind of thrill, I will need a good hour to relax my brain and get lost looking at what the summer will bring. Already
I believe that as W.P. Carey School of Business students it is our job to research, experience, and dive head first into the environment around us, and also those far from us. Think about where you see yourself this summer when you finally get to detach your daily planner from your palm.
Will you be here at ASU, getting ahead of your studies with summer courses? Will you be interning with a business in Phoenix? Will you be headed back home for friends and family? Or, will you be out of the country exploring and indulging in a new culture? However you plan to spend your time, find a purpose in it and let your experience share all that it can with you.
Great local, national, and international employment positions and internships can be found by registering with and searching the Sun Devil CareerLink. Hundreds and hundreds of employers are connected with the site and continuously update hiring positions and opportunities for ASU students.
NOW, is the time to give yourself that hour in a day to think about your opportunities you would like to have when all this crazy class and homework go away!
Cheers!
